Jon's Graduated

I was told to post pictures so here is a few fun photos of Jon and I. I forgot to mention previously one minor note about Jon. HE'S GRADUATED!!!! A Large Hurray for Him. The others are of my first trip to downtown Manhattan. For Melissa's interest Heidi was 9 months pregnant and wanted to go to the show. She's in the blue shirt on the left. She has since had the baby and both are doing great it's her second. Anywhoo Hope you enjoy.

San Diego Fun!

Hello all from the Mitchell family (Mark, Amber, Lydia, Connor, Logan and Brennan)! That listing just gets longer and longer!! We are having fun out here in the San Diego sun! This has been the latest stop on our tour of the US courtesy of the Navy. Mark is working at SPAWAR managing installation of new gadgets on large amphibious attack ships (like small aircraft carriers). Amber and the kids are having fun visiting the zoo, Legoland, the beach and all the other neat places to go here in Southern California. We will be here another year, so if anyone comes out this way ...

Cottle Family In New York

I have taken the liberty to publish something for Jon because he gets busy and doesn't have the time. I hope that is Ok seeing I am not from flower mound, but have become and In-Law to it.
We moved to Long Island New York just over a week ago and we are loving it thus far. Jon is working hard providing for the fam and getting to see a lot of the culture of New York. Makenna and Autumn have adjusted well I am amazed at how easily they move, I counted the other day and Makenna has moved 11 times in the 3 short years of her life.
Last Wed. I had the opportunity to wake up at 3:30 and drive to downtown Manhatten's Time Square to attend GOOD MORNING AMERICA with the rest of the wonderful wives here. It was a lot of fun and we were on T.V. pretty cool. Then on Sunday we drove out to the Hamptons as a family. It truly is just like the movies. I will try to post some pictures when I can get my camera hooked up to the computer. We have a blog as well if anyone would like to check it out it is http://cottlefamilyat.blogspot.com Hope you all have a wonderful summer if anything exciting happens to us we will let ya know. Elder Larkin Update

I've already received two letters from Kelan and haven't been able to write him back yet. I knew before I got either letter that he's leaving the MTC on Monday and only had his MTC address until I got the second letter today. He's even already sent photos which are below. He's doing well, but admits to being a little homesick and has asked for prayers to help with that. He's excited and eager to be getting to the field and sharing the gospel with his two companions. He was a little disappointed at first when he found out he'd be english-speaking, but now he couldn't be happier. He says he doesn't want to go insane like some of the other elders that aren't english speaking and have to stay at the MTC longer! If you want his address to write him, email me and I'll give it to you. Other than that, my life's pretty boring and normal. I hope everyone else is doing well.
